Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our work, how we price projects, and what to expect.
What services does Jai Shree Construction offer?
We do six things: Road Construction (BT roads, WBM roads, plant access roads, highway segments), Industrial Flooring (Trimix and VDF — the kind of heavy-duty floors you need in factories and warehouses), Civil & Structural Works (RCC foundations, buildings, retaining walls, drainage), Earthwork & Excavation (site grading, overburden removal, trenching, mining support), Project Consultancy (feasibility studies, BOQ preparation, quality monitoring), and Supply & Logistics (material sourcing, transport, equipment mobilization). We work for both government agencies like NTPC and private companies like Ruchi Soya.
What areas does JSC serve?
Currently active in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Our office is in Delhi, and we have had or have active sites in Kanpur (UP), Karanpura (Bihar), and Talipalli (Jharkhand). We can mobilize crew and equipment to other locations in North India — it typically takes a few days to set up at a new site since we own all our machinery.
How do I get a cost estimate for my project?
Fill out the form on our Get a Quote page with as much detail as you can — project type, location, approximate area or length, and any drawings or specs you have. You can also call us at +91 93123 33642 or send the details over WhatsApp. We will prepare a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with itemized rates, typically within 24-48 hours. For larger or more complex projects, we may need a site visit first before quoting.
What experience does your founder have?
Ramesh Chand Tarkar holds an M.Tech in Civil Engineering and has been working in construction since the mid-1980s — roughly 39 years. Before starting JSC, he worked on road projects, industrial plants, RCC structures, and earthwork operations across India. He is not just the company owner — he is still directly involved in planning, BOQ review, and quality checks on every major project we take on.
Does JSC handle government projects?
Yes, we actively work on government and public sector projects. Our current and completed projects include work for NTPC Limited (Talipalli Coal Mining, Jharkhand — ₹11.5 Crore) and NUPPL (NTPC-UPRRVUNL Joint Venture) at their thermal power project in Ghatampur, Kanpur. We are UDYAM-registered as an MSME and fully compliant with government procurement requirements.
What certifications and registrations does JSC have?
Jai Shree Construction holds all required statutory registrations: UDYAM Registration (UDYAM-DL-09-0014724) as an MSME Micro Enterprise, GST Registration (07AHYPC5140J1Z3), ESIC Registration (11001629900001099) for employee state insurance, and EPF Registration (DLCPM3288994000) for employee provident fund. We are fully compliant with all government labor and tax regulations.
What is Trimix/VDF flooring and when is it used?
Trimix is a machine-finished concrete floor. Instead of hand-screeding (which gives you an uneven surface), we use a laser screed to level the concrete and then power trowel it to a dense, smooth finish. The result is a floor flat enough for automated production lines and hard enough to take forklift traffic for decades. VDF (Vacuum Dewatered Flooring) is a step we add where vacuum mats pull excess water out of the fresh concrete — this makes it stronger earlier and reduces shrinkage cracks. We use both systems for factory floors, warehouses, food processing plants, and cold storage facilities. Typical specs: FM 25+ flatness, 30+ year lifespan.
How long does road construction typically take?
It depends on the length, layers specified, terrain, and whether you are building during monsoon season (which we try to avoid for bituminous work). A typical industrial access road — say 1-2 km of BT road — usually takes 3-6 months from subgrade to final surfacing. Longer highway segments can run 6-18 months. For reference, our NUPPL BT Road in Ghatampur (a ₹9.23 Crore contract) is at 98% completion and on schedule. We will give you a detailed milestone schedule as part of the estimate.
Does JSC provide project consultancy separately?
Yes, you do not have to hire us for the construction to use our consultancy. We do feasibility studies, site assessments, BOQ preparation, structural design review, construction methodology planning, and third-party quality monitoring. This is useful if you have your own contractor but want an independent engineer to review the work or prepare the cost estimates. Available for government bodies, private developers, and industrial clients.
What equipment does JSC own?
We own 33+ machines and maintain them in-house. The list includes JCB backhoe loaders, hydraulic excavators (PC200/PC130), bulldozers, asphalt paver finisher, vibratory and pneumatic rollers, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, transit mixers, batching plant, generators, tipper trucks, laser screed machine, ride-on power trowels, bar bending/cutting machines, and survey equipment (total station, auto level). Because we own everything, we do not get held up waiting for rental availability — a common reason other contractors miss timelines.
What is JSC's team size and capability?
Over 110 people on payroll: 5+ project managers, 10+ site engineers, 15+ supervisors and foremen, 20+ equipment operators, 50+ skilled tradesmen (masons, welders, carpenters, bar benders), and 10+ support staff (surveyors, safety officers, store keepers). This is our core team — they work with us full-time across projects, which means we are not pulling together a new crew for every job. We currently run multiple sites across different states simultaneously.
How can I verify JSC's credentials?
All our registrations are verifiable through official government portals. You can verify our UDYAM registration (UDYAM-DL-09-0014724) on the udyamregistration.gov.in portal, our GST details (07AHYPC5140J1Z3) on the GST portal, and our ESIC and EPF compliance through respective government websites. You can also visit our Credentials page for complete details or contact us directly for verification support.
